Jakob Sveinsson (born November 24, 1982 in Reykjavík, Iceland)[1] is a 3-time Olympic swimmer from Iceland who started swimming for S.C. Ægir in 1991. He swam for Iceland at the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Olympics.[2]

At the 2000 Olympics, he achieved the best-ever result by an Icelandic swimmer in coming 25th.
